Living in Kawasaki, born in 1979.
His first step into the craft beer industry was “There wasn’t what I wanted to drink so I made my own beer.” In 2015 he quit being a physics teacher at a university preparatory school and threw himself into brewing of beers. His own brewery “Kazakami beer” (Kawasaki Saiwai-ku) astonished the beer industry with a major impact and captured the fancy of craft beer fans at once. However, he got into a car accident in October 2017 and was compelled to close the brewery. While he was thinking of retirement, he was asked to join a project of “Tokaido BEER Kawasaki shuku factory” (東海道BEER 川崎宿工場). With the thought of “I would be the only one person who can do this. This may be the foreordained destiny”, he made a remarkable comeback as a brewer. Still having the created taste so far, his current aim is “not only curveballs but also straight balls to feel & enjoy”. We hope you deeply feel his unique individuality and relish as well with the advanced “world view”.
